I was reading about posting policies of Wikipedia. What a difference from the Britannica. Anyone can post. Consensus is important. But most of Cavendish experiment page is taken from 1911 edition of Britannica. I will post on the discussion page to see what can be done. Wikipedia policy strictly states that no original research is allowed. But still, it may be ok to say that Cavendish did not measure G because G was defined in the 19th century.
